Reclaiming our conversation
We are all responsible
Our current global crisis is a reflection
of our global mood/conversation.
All of our individual moods/attitudes
and actions together have created this situation.
We are all responsible in some
way for the grains of sand that have tipped the scales
of the global conversation to a
point where such insanity can occur.
Every angry or negative thought
or action has fuelled this lunatic fringe.
Everything that we haven't done
that we know that we should/could do, the
times we didn't speak out when
witnessing, unconscious, careless negativity.
Good people allowing themselves
to be exploited, caught up in angry
aggressive behaviour using the
excuse of globalization, capitalism,
Israel etc. as away of not dealing
with personal emotional issues.
Like a microphone in front of a
speaker, it feeds back over and over
until it critical masses and erupts
into war
Its time for those of us who care
to speak out for sanity,
for the human being, for civilisation,
for our children.
Its time for all of us to take a
stand for "what we are "for"; and quit
wasting time spinning our wheels,
pitted against each other, squabbling like
spoilt children about what we are
against.
The current situation is not anyone's
fault, it is a cause and effect spiral that began thousands of years ago
with the first act of violence.
It is time for us to quit the mindless
distractions - endless junk food for the
brain and the body -keeping us
all in a deluded reality,
not taking care of our global responsibilities.
We can all agree on what we are
for -
"Our world working for all of us",
without exception.
How do we get there?
What
is the way forward?
What is missing from our global
culture that if present
will make the picture complete?
How can we achieve our goal of "our
world working for all of us"
without blaming, making wrong,
without "them and us";
"Our world working for all of us
without exception" is not just the
goal/destination, it is also the
journey.
How can we stick with this principle
while dealing with
the issues of our time, where there
is such neanderthal behaviour
taking place on all sides of the
equation?
This terrible event presents us
with the opportunity
for a radical shift in our consciousness,
a true taking of responsibility
on all our parts for our contribution to
the mindset that felt permission
to act out so destructively.
Each of us in our personal relationships,
our inner thoughts,
our behaviour in our adversarial
situations -
and collectively as communities
and nations.
Responsibility - the ability to
respond -
as truly conscious human beings,
or as neanderthals - our choice!
We are at a crossroads, if we don't
get this right,
our children will pay a terrible
price.
The price of global meltdown and
barbarism,
and/or the price of freedom as
governments struggle
to contain the growing global dissent.
One World - One Race - The Human
Race - One Heart shared by us all.
What
is the way forward?
